Stepping into the Unknown

Updated: Sep 25

The most scariest thing to do for people is to step into the unknown and uncertainty. The necessity to trust the process and have faith that everything will work out for you. Being stuck in the same habitual patterns and karmic cycles that repeat themselves again and again. Not stepping into our authenticity and hanging on to the past.

This is the moment to embrace your path with open arms and an open heart. Be in awe with what life has to offer. Choose love over doubt, choose action over hesitation.

Everything comes down to live from an open heart consciousness and authenticity that helps us to co-create our lives through manifestation. Letting go of our thinking, belief and habitual patterns found in our conditioning and programming we have inherited through our ancestral line, but also received in our childhood between the age of 0 and 7 years old where our brains stays in the Theta brainwave. An hypnotic state of mind being able to absorb all the external influences we have perceived as a child. How our parents interact not only with us but also with each other. These years are crucial for the child’s development and can alter his or her thought and habitual patterns altering the co-creation process of the life he or she wants.

The only way to find true freedom of these conditioning is by healing each layer of our traumas as they are stored in our physical body and influence our mental, emotional and spiritual state of being. True freedom in our lives exists only if we can peel these layers of conditioning off one by one until we are truly ourselves. The person we meant to be.

Authenticity requires us to heal our traumas and be able to discern for ourselves what is our life purpose, and how we will walk through life. Each one of us has gifts and they can only be activated once we embark on the journey into oneself, knowing thyself. All answers to life lie within us.

Once we embark on the journey there is no way back as we can´t just go back to sleep and pretend nothing happened to us. The rock bottom or crises we endure, either helps us to wake up or to continue to be a victim of our own conditioning and not willingness of healing. This journey is not for everyone and requires dedication, commitment, self-discipline, self-accountability, courage and fortitude. It is not for the fainted hearts to heal our traumas and go inside the suffering and pain. But it is necessary to find this true freedom from within. As within so without. As below as above. If we want to change our life, the process only starts from within as we cannot change the World around us without changing our own energy patterns which are influenced by our own vibrational frequency from our thoughts, emotions, word and actions. The World is only a reflection of what is within us.

Having said that, everyone has the capacity, intelligence and courage to heal. We are not so different from each other and share the same source or oneness. It´s only the willingness and the self-discipline. However, our time has changed and the universe, spirits, god, divine whatever you like to call it, does not give us the choice in some cases and forces us to surrender to change and let go of the attachment to our ´old ways´, the way how we always thought, felt or acted upon. Because it will not work and we will be pushed to embrace change. In these cases the best way is to surrender and start caring for oneself. These drastic changes can be devastating ending in loss of loved ones, physical security, the worst fears coming true. Self-care should have already been part of our daily routine, but how do you know what this really entails? This really depends on the individual’s journey and state of being and needs to be adjusted accordingly.

In our modern society what self-care is defined by is the quick fix of feeling better about oneself through indulging into retail therapy, addictions to numb the pain, spa treatments, travel escapes living from holiday to holiday.

What does self-care really mean ? To do the ‘hard stuff’, looking at the darkest corners of our belief stored in the subconscious mind, to grow, developing, and truly caring for our physical, mental, emotional, spiritual being and wisdom body. Part of the Ayurvedic tradition speaks of the multi-dimensional being found in the Pancha Maya Model and already the ancients sages knew that we cannot just see us as two dimensional beings with flesh and mind.

Our physical vessel is the most apparent layer for us and normally when we become really sick we suddenly have a wakeup call, which can prevented. It´s our choice.

Between the ages of 0 to 7 years, children predominantly operate in theta brainwave states, which significantly impacts how they are conditioned during this period. Understanding the role of brainwave activity—specifically theta waves—helps explain why children in this age group are so impressionable and why the conditioning they receive is deeply ingrained.

What Are Theta Brain Waves?

Theta brainwaves range from approximately 4 to 7 Hz and are associated with deep relaxation, creativity, imagination, and heightened suggestibility. In adults, theta waves are most commonly present during light sleep, deep meditation, or hypnosis. However, in young children, theta waves are dominant during waking states. This means that children between 0-7 are in a naturally hypnotic-like state, where they absorb information from their environment without critical analysis.

Characteristics of Theta Brainwave Activity in Children (0-7 years)

  1. Highly Suggestible Mind:Because of the dominant theta state, children between 0-7 years old are highly suggestible. They absorb and accept information, behaviors, and beliefs directly from their surroundings—parents, teachers, media—without questioning or filtering it. This is why children are quick to pick up language, adopt cultural norms, and replicate the emotional behaviors of those around them.

  2. Imaginative and Creative Thinking:Theta waves are linked with heightened imagination and creativity. Children in this phase live in a world where reality and fantasy can easily blend. This creativity is a natural part of their learning process, allowing them to explore ideas and concepts freely without being constrained by logical or critical thinking.

  3. Formation of Deep Subconscious Beliefs:The theta state is directly linked to the subconscious mind, where deep-seated beliefs and emotional patterns are formed. Conditioning during this period goes straight into the subconscious, meaning that behaviors, attitudes, and emotional responses learned in this stage often become automatic and deeply embedded, influencing how a person thinks and behaves throughout life.

  4. Absence of Critical Thinking:Until about age 7, children’s brains are not yet fully developed to engage in critical or logical thinking. They do not question the information they receive—they simply take it as truth. For example, if a child is repeatedly told they are "smart" or "capable," they are likely to internalize that belief. Conversely, if they are criticized or told they are "not good enough," those messages can be deeply ingrained and persist into adulthood.

Theta Brainwave Conditioning and Early Childhood Development

1. Emotional Conditioning

  • Because children in the theta state are highly receptive to emotional cues, their emotional conditioning is shaped largely by how parents or caregivers express emotions and handle emotional situations. For example, if caregivers respond with warmth and patience, the child internalizes a sense of safety and learns healthy emotional regulation. On the other hand, if they are exposed to frequent anger, neglect, or stress, they may subconsciously adopt these emotional responses as their default.

2. Behavioral Conditioning

  • Children between 0-7 are particularly vulnerable to behavioral conditioning through positive and negative reinforcement. During this phase, if certain behaviors are consistently rewarded (e.g., being polite, sharing toys), those behaviors are more likely to become ingrained habits. Similarly, if negative behaviors are ignored or punished, children will learn to avoid them, even without fully understanding why.

3. Belief Systems and Identity Formation

  • Core beliefs about self-worth, love, and capability are formed during this period. If a child is regularly praised, supported, and encouraged, they are likely to form positive beliefs about themselves and the world around them. Conversely, repeated exposure to criticism or neglect during the theta state can result in negative self-perceptions that persist well into adulthood.

  • The messages that children receive about gender roles, social expectations, and cultural norms also deeply shape their identity during this period. Because their critical faculties are not fully developed, they adopt these external messages as part of their core identity.

4. Learning and Memory

  • Theta brainwaves are also associated with accelerated learning. Children in this state can learn new skills (like language or motor functions) and internalize vast amounts of information quickly. This is why early childhood is often considered a "golden period" for teaching languages, moral values, and foundational cognitive skills.

  • Memories formed during this period can be particularly vivid and impactful. Because the brain is in a highly receptive state, experiences (both positive and negative) tend to leave lasting impressions that can influence behavior and attitudes later in life.

 Conclusion

During the ages of 0-7 years, children operate primarily in a theta brainwave state, making them highly suggestible and receptive to the information, emotions, and behaviors in their environment. This period is when deep subconscious conditioning takes place, forming the foundation for emotional responses, core beliefs, and behavioral patterns that often persist into adulthood. The messages and experiences children absorb during this phase, whether positive or negative, are deeply internalized, shaping their future interactions with the world.
